Heinrich Tech Specs

Alright, I haven't really worked on anything for the last week, but I was thinking a little more about Heinrich's overall design and ways to improve on it. I wanted to quick sketch some of those ideas down and possibly discuss with those who may be interested.

Hands: 'Cause I'm a Bioshock fanboy and when I saw some clips from the start of Bioshock 2 I had to incorporate some elements some the game. On a less fanboy-ish and a more "for the sake of the fiction" note, I also figured that the original armor idea of just "slipped" on wouldn't really be practical on what was suppose to be a giant living assault machine. So, parts of his armor would be surgically implanted while others would have been rivited to braces throughout his body.

Legs: 'Cause when I took physics in high school, I acctually asked my teacher what I would take for something to be giant sized. To which he replied, "Nothing, things are the size they are because they're the size they are and that's how they work." Yes, not what you giant monster fans like to hear, but it can be used to your advantage depending on what you want to do with your monster. For Heinrich I'm thinking of not only giving him a "GI Joe of giant monsters" feel but also a "got the short end of the straw" as far as the whole monster thing is concerned. He's big, but at about 40 feet tall he still has to fear the military and can't smash cities to rubble. Not to mention, being a mutation, he'll have to endure the joint and bone pain that tend to plauge extremly tall humans. So, he gets leg braces. Sorta a giant monster equivilant to polio leg braces, and to which other armor aspects would be rivited.
